Luke 6: 38, Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the meaasure you use, it will be measured to you.

Giving is a biblical principle that great people live by and they are blessed. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loveth a cheerful giver (2 Cor 9:7)

1 Chronicles 21:24 And the kings said to Ornan, Nay, but i will verily buy it for the full price; for will not take that which is thine for the Lord, nor offer burnt offernings without cost

It is through our giving that we receive the greatest blessing. God says, Test me in this, and see if i will not throw open the floodgates of heavens and pour out so much blessings there will not be room enough to store it (malachi 3:10).  Honor the Lord with your substance/wealth and with the first fruit of all your crops then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
